Forklift Training Systems offers a virtual forklift operator class designed to meet the classroom portion of OSHA’s training requirements. Delivered live via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, this course provides remote access to high-quality instruction without sacrificing engagement or compliance. Our instructors guide participants through safety fundamentals, operator responsibilities, and real-world scenarios to help reinforce safe behavior and legal accountability.
This training is not a generic online module; it’s a dynamic, instructor-led experience tailored to your equipment and operational environment. We support your team by providing instructional materials and guidance to help you conduct the required hands-on evaluations at your site.
Training Class Details
- Class Length: 4 hours (9:00 AM–1:00 PM). Each add-on module adds 30 minutes.
- Location: Online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom
- Cost:
- $100 per operator for Sit-Down & Stand-Up Counterbalance
- $15 per add-on module: Reach Truck, Order Picker, Pallet Jack / Walkie Stacker
- Eligibility: Training is only available to individuals affiliated with a company. OSHA requires site-specific, hands-on evaluations that must be conducted by the employer.
What to Expect from Virtual Training
Participants will engage in a live, interactive session that includes real-time Q&A, accident and near-miss video analysis, and practical instruction aligned with OSHA Standard 1910.178. The course is designed to be flexible and relevant, with optional modules for specialized equipment types.
Digital records are securely stored and can be emailed upon request. We also provide reminders before training expires to help your team stay compliant.

Virtual Training Requirements
To ensure a smooth training experience, each attendee must:
- Use a laptop, desktop, or tablet with working audio and video (no phones)
- Have a stable internet connection and quiet space to participate
- Be visible and audible throughout the session
- Speak and read English functionally
- Achieve a passing score of 80% or higher (no re-tests or refunds for failed exams)
